A moment of wellbeing for two
Too few pregnant women treat themselves to prenatal massage, even though its benefits are immense. It relieves tension and muscle pain, soothes leg heaviness and cramps, promotes sleep, reduces stress, headaches and nausea, while providing relaxation and calm for the mother-to-be… and the baby.
Unlike in many salons, prenatal massage is one of my favourite treatments.
Every pregnancy is unique. The body changes, fatigue sets in, emotions can be more intense. I adapt each massage to the needs of the mother-to-be, whatever stage of pregnancy she is at. Positions are adjusted and cushions provide comfort and support: a round belly is never an obstacle.
And let’s be honest: this is the ideal time to take care of yourself, because after the baby arrives, time for yourself inevitably becomes scarcer.
