Wellbeing from an early age: a priority for our children
I firmly believe that it is essential to teach our children to take care of themselves, their bodies and their minds, from an early age.
In Morocco, this tradition is deeply rooted in the culture: children discover the hammam very early on, sometimes within their first few months. My own daughter started going when she was only 9 months old. This ritual is part of everyday life for families, who go regularly, often every month.
I think it’s wonderful to pass on this education in self-respect and wellbeing in a world where appearance often takes precedence over feelings. It is vital for us that our children learn to feel good in their bodies and minds. That’s why I offer free entry to the hammam and exfoliation for children aged 1 to 5 and special rates for children up to 10 years old.
Moments of relaxation and wellbeing help to reduce stress, even in the youngest children, and offer the whole family a precious break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
